Refund Policy

At Jawai Leopard Safaris, we understand that plans can change. This refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent and straightforward so you can book with complete confidence knowing exactly where you stand.

By making a booking with us, you agree to the refund terms outlined below.

1. Cancellation by Guest

If you need to cancel your booking for any reason, the following refund structure applies based on how much notice you provide before your scheduled safari date:

More than 7 days before safari 100% full refund
3 to 7 days before safari 75% refund
48 to 72 hours before safari 50% refund
Less than 48 hours before safari No refund
No show on the day of safari No refund

All cancellation requests must be communicated to us via WhatsApp, phone call or email. Verbal cancellations made to drivers or trackers on the ground will not be accepted as valid cancellation requests.

Once your cancellation is confirmed by our team, your eligible refund will be processed within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation by Jawai Leopard Safaris

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel your safari from our end. This may happen due to:

  • Extreme weather conditions such as heavy rainfall, storms or flooding
  • Wildlife safety concerns as advised by local authorities
  • Natural disasters or events beyond human control
  • Government restrictions or administrative orders
  • Vehicle breakdown or operational issues

In such cases, you will be offered:

  • Option A: Full reschedule at no additional cost
  • Option B: 100% full refund within 5 to 7 business days

3. No Refund for Wildlife Sightings

  • Leopard sightings cannot be guaranteed
  • No refund if no wildlife is sighted
  • Trackers will maximise your chances
  • The safari experience includes the full ecosystem, not just leopard sightings

4. Refund on Partial Use of Services

If you skip any part of a booked package, no partial refund will be issued.

If we fail to deliver a service, we will provide an alternative or proportional refund.

5. Refund on Date or Time Changes

  • Free change up to 7 days before booking
  • One free reschedule allowed
  • Changes under 7 days subject to availability

6. Refund for Group Bookings

  • Refund calculated individually
  • Remaining members can continue
  • Adjustments provided if group size changes

7. How Refunds Are Processed

  • Processed within 5 to 7 business days
  • Refunded via original payment method
  • Confirmation sent via WhatsApp or email
  • May take additional 2–3 days to reflect

8. Non-Refundable Circumstances

  • No show without prior cancellation
  • Cancellation less than 48 hours
  • No wildlife sighting
  • Violation of safety rules
  • Late arrival
  • Personal reasons without notice

9. Disputes

If you have any concern, please contact us directly. All disputes are subject to jurisdiction in Pali, Rajasthan.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version applicable will be the one at the time of booking.
